Job Overview

We’re looking for a reliable and well-organised Catering Coordinator to manage day-to-day catering operations and support internal events within a professional corporate setting.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys delivering high-quality service, keeping things running smoothly, and being the go-to person when it comes to food, meetings, and events.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for coordinating catering services across meetings and events, ensuring a seamless experience for clients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve tea and coffee for meetings
  • Order and coordinate catering for internal functions
  • Set up and reset meeting rooms to a high standard
  • Manage catering requirements for events end-to-end
  • Coordinate casual/outsourced staff when required
  • Monitor event timelines and budgets
  • Maintain kitchen areas, stock levels, and hygiene standards
  • Process orders, invoices, and stock control
  • Provide occasional reception support

About You

  • Experience in a similar catering or corporate hospitality role
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Confident communicator with a professional approach
  • Proactive and able to solve problems on the fly
  • Reliable, punctual, and flexible with hours
  • Well-presented with a customer-first mindset

Requirements

  • Current RSA
  • Food Handling Safety Certificate
  • Full Australian working rights (Permanent Residency or Citizenship required)
  • Ability to successfully complete a police check
  • First Aid and Warden training (highly regarded)
