Job Description
- Provide excellent customer service and product advice to meet client needs.
- Prepare and follow up on quotes, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve overall business objectives.
- Maintain and update client records and sales reports in the CRM system.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Support internal teams with product knowledge and sales insights.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all sales activities.
The Successful Applicant
- Previous experience in sales, preferably within the steel manufacturing industry.
- Strong technical aptitude, including the ability to interpret engineering specifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting client relationships.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A proactive approach with the ability to identify and act on new opportunities.
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- An understanding of the industrial or manufacturing sector is highly regarded.
