Role & Impact

As a Staff iOS Engineer at Blinq, you’ll help shape how millions of people make real-world connections. You’ll lead key decisions across our mobile stack — from core app experiences to accessories, widgets, and upstream API design — bringing deep technical expertise and a high bar for engineering excellence. This is a senior role with broad impact: you'll not only write elegant code but also guide architecture, mentor teams, and drive systems that scale with us.

What You’ll Do

• Lead design and delivery of complex iOS features, including Blinq accessories, widgets, and platform integrations
• Drive architectural strategy and set patterns that support long-term product velocity
• Partner with backend and product teams to evolve our mobile experience and underlying APIs
• Mentor and support engineers across squads, levelling up both individuals and teams
• Champion internal tooling and workflow improvements that lift engineering productivity

What You’ll Bring

• 8+ years of experience in iOS engineering, with expert-level depth in Swift and iOS frameworks
• Proven track record designing mobile architectures that scale across teams and feature areas
• Strong system thinking — capable of simplifying complexity while keeping long-term goals in mind
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and influence org-wide decisions
• A collaborative, growth-minded approach with a passion for mentoring and team development
