About the Role

Whitehaven Coal | Blackwater seeks an experienced Warehouse Superintendent.

This key leadership role is responsible for the safe, efficient, and cost-effective management of warehousing on site. This critical role ensures Inventory availability / accuracy, and supply chain reliability.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will lead the warehouse team and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the warehouse team to deliver safe and efficient operations
• Oversee inventory management including stock accuracy and reconciliations
• Ensure availability of materials to support maintenance and operational requirements
• Ensure compliance with safety, site standards, and statutory requirements
• Provide reporting on inventory and cost optimisation

What You Will Bring

• Extensive experience in warehouse or supply chain operations with at least 1-3 years in a supervisory / superintendent role
• Experience managing warehousing teams in mining, heavy industry, or a similar
• Strong knowledge of warehouse safety, inventory management, and materials handling procedures
• Proficiency in inventory and materials systems (eg SAP)
