The Role

We’re looking for a commercially minded and detail-oriented Pricing Specialist to join our Strategic Pricing team. This full-time role involves developing complex pricing formulas tailored to product family groups and requires a strong willingness to learn the ball bearing industry.

You'll partner with the Sales and Operations teams to gather market intelligence and incorporate it into pricing decisions and data analytics. This role calls for a sharp eye for detail and a proactive, analytical approach to uncovering insights that support informed, strategic outcomes.

Based at our Oakleigh head office, hybrid work arrangements will be on offer.

Key Responsibilities/Activities:

Manage pricing activities including contracts, customer rebates, and ad hoc pricing, while maintaining accurate pricing data across all systems (SAP/S4/HANA, Excel, C4C).

• Generate and analyse pricing reports.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and other departments to ensure pricing accuracy, alignment and consistency.
• Provide ad hoc reporting and administrative support to the Strategic Pricing team and management.
• Manage fixed price agreements and maintain related databases.
• Administer and update rebate contracts and percentages in SAP ERP.
• Occasionally collaborate across time zones.

Skills and Experience

• Background in data analytics or pricing
• Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, table arrays, and PivotTables
• Proven ability to manage large datasets with high accuracy
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a proactive, methodical approach
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
• Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills
• Eagerness to learn new tools and systems
• Experience with SAP/S4/HANA, Excel is must
• C4C knowledge is highly desirable
• Knowledge of industrial mechanical products/tools is a plus

Qualification

Tertiary qualification preferred, or Year 12 with relevant experience
