Lawyer/ Senior Lawyer – Workers Compensation

Overview

Montgomery Advisory is partnering with a highly regarded national law firm to recruit a Solicitor or Senior Associate for their growing Workers Compensation practice in Sydney.

The Firm

Our client is a leading national commercial law firm, known for delivering high-quality legal services across a wide range of practice areas. Their Workers Compensation team is recognised for its depth of expertise and commitment to client service, acting for government bodies, scheme agents, self-insurers, and major corporate employers.

The Role

You will work closely with senior lawyers and partners on a variety of complex matters. These include the defence and management of psychological injury claims, advising on risk and injury management strategies, and handling Lead Scheme Agent matters. The work is fast-paced, varied, and highly rewarding for someone with strong statutory insurance experience.

What You’ll Need

• A minimum of 2 years post-admission experience


• Previous experience in workers compensation law, preferably on the defendant side


• Exposure to psychological injury claims and statutory schemes is highly desirable


• Strong written and verbal communication skills


• Ability to manage a busy file load and deliver practical outcomes for clients
