Job Description:
We're after a skilled Traffic Engineer who can also handle road design tasks. The ideal candidate will have a civil engineering degree and 5 to 7 years of experience in the delivery of large infrastructure projects. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing traffic management plans, conducting traffic impact assessments, and ensuring compliance with the relevant codes and standards.
We have opportunities in Brisbane & Sydney.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop traffic management plans.
- Prepare traffic staging plans.
- Conduct traffic impact assessments and feasibility studies.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver project outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with local and national codes and standards.
- Provide technical advice and support to project teams.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and authorities like Transport for NSW or the Department of Main Roads.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
- 5-7 years of experience in the delivery of large infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in traffic engineering, traffic management, transport operations and road design.
- Background in consultancy, civil contractors, or road authorities (e.g., Transport for NSW, Department of Main Roads).
- Strong knowledge of relevant standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
