I’m working with a well established accounting and advisory firm that's growing its CFO Advisory team. They’re looking for someone experienced, detail-oriented, and proactive to help support their clients with real-time financial insight and ongoing advisory support.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll work closely with the internal CFO team to support a diverse client base - think everything from hospitality and medical to agribusiness and not for profits. The work goes well beyond standard bookkeeping – it's more collaborative, strategic, and hands on.
Day to day, you’ll be:
- Processing payroll, including super and leave
- Reconciling bank accounts and general ledgers
- Supporting budgeting and cashflow forecasting
- Preparing BAS, IAS, and other compliance reports
- Managing accounts payable/receivable
- Collaborating with the CFO team on financial reporting
- Keeping client records clean, accurate, and up to date
What we’re looking for:
- 3-4+ years bookkeeping experience (ideally in an accounting firm or multi‑client environment)
- Strong knowledge of BAS, GST, and payroll
- Confident with cloud accounting tools like Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks
- Someone who’s organised, great with clients, and able to manage competing priorities
- A Cert IV in Bookkeeping/Accounting would be great – but not essential if you’ve got the experience
