Job description
As Procurement Manager, you will provide trusted procurement, commercial and policy advice to stakeholders across the Department, supporting procurement activities from source to contract.
Key responsibilities
- You will help shape procurement approaches, review key documentation and provide expert advice to support informed decision making and value for money outcomes.
- As part of a collaborative team, you will also contribute to strengthening procurement capability, processes and practices across the Department.
- Create social and economic opportunities for the state.
- Support the creation of jobs across the creative, visitor and night-time economies.
What you need
- You are an experienced procurement professional with strong commercial acumen and the ability to provide trusted, expert advice across a broad range of stakeholders.
- You bring experience supporting complex procurement activities and can apply sound judgement that balances business needs with governance, probity, risk and value for money considerations.
- You are confident building relationships, influencing stakeholders and communicating procurement concepts clearly and practically.
