Responsibilities
- In the absence of a Senior Technician, assist the base supervisor in job allocation where work has not been allocated for the following day.
- Assist all fellow employees in a supportive manner as an integral part of working as a team.
- Complete and maintain a daily diary.
- Maintain the cleanliness/tidiness in the immediate area of your work, both in the workshop and on site.
- Promote and market Furmanite services, products and business solutions.
- Comply with the Quality System for the supply of services and products to our clients in accordance with AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000.
- Comply with Furmanite company policies and procedures, as varied from time to time.
Requirements
- With Fitter & Turner, or Fitter Machinist or other relevant skill
- Trade certificate is highly preferable
- Hold a valid Australian Driver’s License
- Hold a Construction Card
- Ability to work Onshore, offshore and on remote site.
- Ability to work shift work
- Ability to set priorities and work to deadlines.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Good written and verbal communication in the English language.
- Computer literacy an advantage.
