Recruitment Business Partner @ UGL | Telecommunications & Utilities Operations & Maintenance
We have multiple opportunities for experienced Glove & Barrier Lineworkers to join our growing Victorian operations. Based out of Tullamarine, you’ll be part of a team that takes pride in delivering safe, reliable work across metro and regional locations.
We’re also looking for strong leaders to step into Crew Leader roles — guiding field crews while staying hands‑on in the work.
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing
- Performing live line Glove & Barrier work, including construction and maintenance of overhead distribution assets
- Working across metro and regional Western and Northeastern Victoria
- Crew Leaders will coordinate daily work, mentor team members, and ensure safety and quality standards are met — while actively working alongside the crew
✅ What You’ll Need
- Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems – Distribution Overhead (UET30619) or equivalent
- Glove & Barrier qualification and proven experience
- Victorian Lineworker Registration (Orange Card)
- HR Driver’s Licence
- High Risk Work Licences – Elevating Work Platform, Dogging, and/or Rigging
- Construction White Card, First Aid, CPR, and other relevant industry tickets
- Strong safety focus and teamwork ethic
- Leadership experience (Crew Leader applicants)
- Crane Borer (Peru) experience (highly regarded)
- High Voltage (HV) Switching Operator (highly regarded)
Please note a rigorous pre‑employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screening test will be conducted.
