Health Safety Environment Coordinator

We are currently partnered with one of Australia's leading retail developers. They're seeking an experienced HSE Coordinator to join a major multi-staged project based in Sydney.

This is a rare opportunity to contribute to one of Sydney's largest shopping centre redevelopments currently underway. You will be working alongside an experienced team of professionals.

In this position, you will be reporting to the National Safety Manager and play a key role in ensuring the highest safety standards on-site.

Please note, this position is for a 6–9-month contract with the potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and enforce HSE compliance
2. Conduct site inspections and audits
3. Lead safety meetings and training sessions
4. Prepare and submit safety reports to senior management

Requirements:

1. At least 5 years’ HSE experience in construction or retail development
2. Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and practices
3. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
4. Experience working on large-scale construction projects
