Job description
You will lead the design, fabrication, testing, and deployment of the controls/electronics suite for Möbius’ flagship product line.
You will have significant ownership and autonomy in day-to-day operations and will work in a small team to accomplish goals rapidly with expert craftsmanship.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Integrates robotic systems (actuators, drive, sensors) from concept to deployment
- Manages electrical subsystem design and power management
- Develops embedded software control, comfortable with ROS2 and
- Ensures robotic safety, interlocks, and regulatory compliance
- Validates hardware-software integration for automation
Qualifications
You should be confident, a strong leader, a fast learner, hungry, collaborative, a clear communicator, humble, passionate, disciplined, and organized. Operator who delivers under pressure.
Prerequisites
- At least 5 years of experience building robotic systems and designing products either professional or personal. Bonus points if you’ve released a product.
- Comfortable with CAD in SolidWorks and 3D printing.
- Experience integrating AI with robotics.
- Experience with robotics in industrial settings.
- Prior experience leading teams (optional)
- Demonstrated passion for robotics on a personal level (love of the game)
