Base pay range

A$70,000.00/yr - A$90,000.00/yr

This role is with one of Australia’s leading and rapidly growing insurance broking groups. You will be working alongside a supportive and experienced team of professionals who are committed to providing exceptional service to their clients. As an Account Manager you’ll be responsible for a portfolio of clients and be tasked with providing them insurance solutions and excellent customer service. You'll also be providing key assistance to a Director to further your development and exposure to larger and more complex risks.

Duties and Responsibilities

• End-to-end management of a mixed portfolio of clients
• Maintaining and growing the portfolio through new business initiatives
• Manage a mixed portfolio of SME clients and provide them with expert advice and tailored insurance solutions
• Facilitate the provision of quotes, renewals, endorsements, claims and processing
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurers
• Maintain industry and market knowledge by attending seminars and events
• Adopt an open mind and willingness to learn

Qualifications

• Tier 1 Broking Qualification
• Experience as an Account Manager/Executive managing a portfolio of insurance business
• OR, experience as an established Broker Assistant and are looking to take the next step
• Understanding of the general insurance product suite
• A positive can‑do attitude! Someone that takes initiative in their learning and can be flexible in a growing and innovative environment
• Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to communicate with external stakeholders
• Enjoy being part of a team and contributing to a positive culture
