Job Description

As a Senior Manager in Business Services, you will take ownership of a diverse portfolio of private clients and SME groups, acting as the primary relationship lead. Your role will be a blend of technical review, advisory, and people leadership, with support from capable senior accountants and intermediates.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and reviewing business services and tax compliance work
• Acting as the main client contact, providing trusted advisory support
• Mentoring and developing senior and intermediate accountants
• Working closely with partners on workflow, resourcing, and client strategy
• Contributing to process improvement and practice growth initiatives

This is a hands‑on manager role with strong admin and team support, allowing you to focus on high‑value work rather than volume processing.

You Will Ideally Have

• CA or CPA qualification
• 7+ years’ experience in Australian public practice (Business Services / Tax)
• Proven experience managing client portfolios and reviewing team work
• Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with business owners
• A collaborative mindset and interest in long‑term career progression
