What You Will Do & What You Will Bring
As a Scientist at Invetech, you will:
- Independently perform molecular biology and cell-based testing with a high degree of technical accuracy and adherence to protocols
- Prepare samples and conduct analytical testing, including data analysis and interpretation of experimental results
- Prepare reagents, consumables, and other materials to support automated testing workflows
- Collaborate with internal scientists and cross-functional teams to execute cell therapy manufacturing workflow testing
- Critically analyze data, prepare technical reports, and present findings to internal teams, external partners, and clients
- Maintain and enforce safe laboratory practices, particularly when working with biological hazards or regulated materials
- Support laboratory operations through general maintenance, inventory management, and procurement coordination
- Contribute to marketing and commercial initiatives by generating data sets and supporting technical content development
Required Skills and Experience
In addition, we require the following skills and experience:
- 5+ years of relevant laboratory and/or product development experience
- Bachelor of Science in bioengineering, molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, or immunology (MSc or PhD preferred)
- Proficiency in aseptic techniques and handling biological products
- Knowledge of GDP, GLP, GMP, and cell therapy manufacturing processes
- Practical experience with techniques including qPCR, flow cytometry, and ELISA
- Experience working in regulated biomedical environments (IEC13485, FDA, EU)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs
- Effective collaborator, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
