Join our Software Engineering Team at HUB24, where we are transforming financial services by developing cutting-edge platforms that make financial advice more accessible and affordable for Australians. We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in investment portfolio analysis, reporting, and administration to play a pivotal role in our product development and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Gain comprehensive understanding of HUB24’s portfolio solutions, becoming a key contributor within the Software Engineering team.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers to understand client needs, influence the product roadmap, and assist the development team in domain-specific challenges, ensuring smooth product delivery.
• Work with Operations and Client Support teams to resolve issues, guide investigations, and prioritize solutions, enhancing overall user experience.
• Build strong relationships with Product Managers, end users, and SMEs to gather, document, and validate requirements for new features and enhancements.
• Develop detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for the product backlog, ensuring clarity and alignment with project goals.
• Translate technical requirements from Architects and Technical Leads into actionable technical stories, ensuring robust and scalable engineering solutions.
• Actively engage in Agile ceremonies, contributing to a collaborative and innovative development environment.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions by validating user interfaces, data accuracy, and transformation processes throughout the development cycle.
• Provide mentorship to junior analysts, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the Software Engineering team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the fintech sector or a similar industry.
• Strong understanding of the Financial Services domain.
• Extensive knowledge of investment portfolio analysis, reporting, and calculations.
• Proficiency in contemporary business analysis methodologies, practices, techniques, and tools (BABOK).
• Practical experience with project delivery lifecycles, methodologies, and governance practices, including Agile methodologies like Scrum and SAFe.
