Maple Indian Gourmet Restaurant is seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our team in Kippa-Ring, QLD. As a full-time Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and authentic Indian dishes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes according to our menu and recipes
• Ensure high quality and consistency in all dishes served
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
• Monitor and manage inventory levels and food costs
• Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
• Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and specials
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve our menu offerings
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Chef in an Indian cuisine restaurant
• Certificate IV in Kitchen Management or above relevant qualification
• Strong knowledge of Indian spices and cooking techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Salary: $73150 to $76000 plus Superannuation
