Overview
PD Group Co has a position available for an experienced qualified Carpenter. The successful candidate will be fully qualified and available for an immediate start.
Key responsibilities
- Competent in carrying out all aspects of internal fix outs i.e., skirting boards, architraves, door jambs, doors etc.
- Ordering and picking up materials
- Repair and maintenance of existing buildings
- Ensuring that works meet relevant quality and safety standards
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Possess all necessary trade qualifications - Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent
- Highly skilled with quality workmanship - minimum 5 years’ experience within a similar role, carrying out all types of carpentry works
- Well presented, organised, efficient and able to develop good working relationships
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills - must be fluent in English
- Strong work ethic, highly motivated and enthusiastic
- Capable of working independently or in a team
- Willing to maintain a commitment to our values and OH&S policies
- Must have ABN and applicable insurances
- Must have valid Australian Driver's Licence and own reliable vehicle
- Must provide own tools
Qualifications
- Possess all necessary trade qualifications - Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within a similar role, carrying out all types of carpentry works
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills - fluent in English
