About The Role
Reporting into the Senior Manager – UX Research, this role is a key individual contributor within the Experience Design team, responsible for delivering high‑quality customer insights that inform product, design, and business decisions.
The successful candidate will support the delivery of both strategic and tactical research across Sportsbet’s product ecosystem. This includes contributing to ongoing tracking programs, leading components of research projects, and supporting ad‑hoc initiatives.
As a developing research practitioner, you will apply core qualitative and quantitative research methods to uncover meaningful insights and clearly articulate their implications. You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Strategy teams to ensure customer understanding is embedded in decision‑making.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the end‑to‑end delivery of UX research projects, from initial brief through to insight synthesis and presentation.
- Support the execution of both strategic and tactical research initiatives, ensuring outputs are clear, actionable, and aligned to business needs.
- Utilise research platforms (e.g. Maze) and other tools to support efficient and effective research delivery.
About You
While we are big on development and offer on‑the‑job training, we want to set you up for success. Along with a great attitude, it would be ideal that you have:
- 2+ years of experience in a UX research or related role.
- Demonstrated experience contributing to research projects within a digital / tech related environment.
- Experience applying qualitative research methods such as interviews, usability testing, and concept validation.
- Exposure to quantitative methods such as surveys, analytics, or experimentation is desirable.
This role requires a proactive, curious, and collaborative individual who can manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively, and contribute to building a strong research culture across the organisation.

The salary range for this position is between $80,000 – $95,000 AUD.
