Technical Writer – Northrop Grumman Australia

Technical Writer role at Northrop Grumman Australia.

As the Technical Writer, you will be responsible for the development and coordination of Engineering and Maintenance Process and Operational Procedure documents within the Engineering and Maintenance Management systems. You will also have accountability for:

  • Facilitate appropriate Engineering and Maintenance Governance forums
  • Review draft documents to ensure they align with EMS/MMS PrOP architecture
  • Record functional compliance of documents via the EMS and MMS Verification Cross Matrix
  • Maintain currency in document management systems
  • Seek emerging technology to drive efficiency/productivity into the EMS & MMS

About You

  • Experience in Aviation – CAMO, OPS, Tech Pubs
  • Experience in developing and authoring engineering or maintenance PrOP
  • Experience with large interdependent management systems across multiple domains
  • Skilled in document management systems

Additional Information

As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable, and your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role. You will also need to satisfy police checks and employment screening verification.
