Credit Officer - GPC Asia Pacific - Rowville - Fixed Term

Overview

GPC Asia Pacific is currently seeking a talented customer service expert to join our finance team as a Store Network Credit Officer on a Fixed Term 6 Months basis, to complement our Rowville Support Office.

What You Will Be Doing

• Customer Service: Make and receive phone calls from customers and our store network; handle customer complaints and resolve queries; process journals to resolve banking/receipting issues; provide genuine, friendly, prompt service.
• Debt collection / credit control: Contact customers/stores to investigate late payments and payment options; negotiate a payment plan; place accounts on stop credit as required; check and investigate disputes or discrepancies with customer accounts.
• Account Maintenance: Account maintenance and set up; set credit limits for customers; ensure appropriate security processes; reconciliations and receipting; ensure all Key Accounts are reconciled; reporting as required; administration.

About You

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Customer service experience
• Be available full-time hours, 8am – 4pm
• Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and develop strong professional relationships
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Intermediate mathematical and literacy skills
• Intermediate computer skills, and confidence with Excel
• Previous experience working with D365 is advantageous
