A premier national occupational rehabilitation provider is seeking a driven Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist to join a high-performing and tight-knit team in Canberra. This specific opportunity as a Rehabilitation Consultant stands out for its clinical variety, as the successful candidate will deliver innovative services such as a specialized pain education program. This program utilizes virtual reality and modern pain science to help clients re-train their brain and body in collaboration with their entire treating team. Daily responsibilities include manageable case management supported by Rehabilitation Assistants, conducting initial and vocational assessments, and developing injury prevention programs. The consultant will work collaboratively with injured workers, employers, and medical professionals across multiple schemes, including Workers Compensation, Comcare, and the Department of Veteran’s Affairs, to achieve sustainable return-to-health outcomes.
