As a leading global insurance and asset management brand, we prioritise care for our customers, the planet, and each other. We hire the very best people to further our commitment to caring and securing the future for our customers.

We offer an inclusive workplace where everyone feels like they belong, while promoting a culture of lifelong learning, development, and global mobility. Join us and share your ideas, be inspired, give back to the community and feel proud to be a part of an organisation doing meaningful work that matters while supporting sustainability, mental health, and well-being.

Let’s care for tomorrow, so we can create a better future together, for everyone.

The primary purpose of this role is to manage a portfolio of Treasury Managed Fund claims from inception to finalisation in accordance with both relevant regulatory and Allianz requirements, to maintain a focus on strategic collaboration and case management at all times, and to maximize return to work and return to health outcomes for claimants, consistently displaying initiative and leadership on a team and business level.

About the role

  • Focus on strategic collaboration and case management specifically for Workers' Compensation claims for government clients to optimize return to work and health outcomes for claimants, while coaching and leading projects to enhance claims results.
  • Make informed liability decisions for claims based on comprehensive evaluation of all relevant and accessible information.
  • Foster effective relationships with stakeholders, including injured claimants, families, legal and medical professionals, to achieve successful outcomes, while coaching others to develop these skills.
  • Uphold high customer service standards and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, demonstrating deep knowledge of the business, industry, and customer needs.
  • Continuously assess Workers' Compensation claims for treatment and rehabilitation needs, identify trends for risk management, and recommend policy improvements to ensure compliance and enhance claims practices.

About you

  • Successfully completed structured training and compiled a portfolio of evidence, demonstrating technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting, and communication tools.
  • Possesses relevant medico-legal qualifications and experience in bodily injury claims processes across insurance, legal, medical, or complex customer service sectors.
  • Capable of working collaboratively in a team environment, providing advice and guidance, and temporarily fulfilling roles such as Case Reviewer and Team Manager to support the team.
  • Exhibits strong planning and prioritization skills, effectively organizing tasks and managing competing resources, while displaying leadership and encouraging these behaviours in others.
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interpret complex information, extract insights, and balance empathy with achieving optimal commercial outcomes for Allianz.
  • A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
