Are you an M&A banker who enjoys the work, but questioning whether the traditional large-bank environment is the right long-term fit?
I’m currently working with a high-calibre boutique investment bank looking to add an Analyst with circa 2–3 years’ experience to its M&A team.
This is an opportunity to join a platform that maintains top-tier deal standards and exposure, while offering a more entrepreneurial, collaborative and close-knit environment than a traditional bulge bracket.
The opportunity
You’ll work across a range of mid-market M&A transactions, gaining meaningful exposure across the full transaction lifecycle and working closely with senior bankers.
The team has been deliberately built with strong top-tier experience, with senior leadership, Associates and ADs having backgrounds across leading global investment banks.
The platform offers the opportunity to:
- Work on high-quality M&A transactions with direct exposure to senior bankers
- Take on meaningful responsibility early in your career
- Work in a smaller, high-performing team where your contribution is visible
- Learn directly from experienced bankers with top-tier institutional backgrounds
- Develop broader transaction and client exposure than you may typically get in a larger platform
- Be part of a genuinely collaborative and entrepreneurial culture
About you
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has approximately 2 - 3 years’ Investment Banking / M&A experience
- Comes from a bulge bracket, top-tier investment bank or highly regarded advisory platform
- Has strong technical M&A and financial modelling skills
- Enjoys transaction work and wants to continue building a career in M&A
- Is commercially minded, ambitious and highly driven
- Is looking for a platform where they can have greater ownership and visibility
Why consider it?
If you enjoy M&A but are ready for a change from the traditional large-bank environment, this is an opportunity to work alongside high-calibre bankers on quality transactions, with greater exposure and a more entrepreneurial culture.
