Our clients, are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Assistant to take ownership of the accounts receivable function for a highly regarded boutique company in Moorabbin.
This is a permanent part-time role, working five days per week, five hours per day, Thursdays are worked from home.

About the Role
This position is ideal for an experienced Accounts Receivable professional who is process-driven, systems-savvy, and communicates confidently with clients and colleagues alike.
You will take responsibility for the accounts receivable function, with the role primarily being collection of outstanding debts and ensuring debtors are managed effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Following up aged debtors by phone and email
- Managing monthly failed credit card payment follow-ups
- Responding to and managing cancellation enquiries
- Setting up new customer subscriptions in HubSpot database system (HubSpot experience would be a bonus but is not essential
- Reviewing account information and identifying discrepancies or required actions
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring matters are followed through to completion
- Liaising with customers and internal team members to resolve account-related issues
- Responding to daily emails and general administration
Skills and Experience To be successful in this role, you will have:
- At least 3 years' experience in an Accounts Receivable position – primarily debt collection focus
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of your role
- Experience using Xero (highly regarded)
