About The Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Mechanical Maintainer to join the Narrabri CHPP maintenance team.
What You’ll Do
- Undertake mechanical maintenance activities on shift as needed
- Work collaboratively with your crew members, assisting where required and be a positive influence in high performance behaviour in the workplace
- Support site HSEC policy and procedures, following safe work procedures as set out for the work process
- Inspection of the work area and plant for hazards, damage and defects
- Contribute to improvement projects around the CHPP
What You’ll Bring
The successful applicant will possess the following qualifications, experience and qualities:
- Mechanical trade certification, boilermaker also advantageous
- Working at heights / Confined Space / Gas Testing
- Experience of process plant and equipment, including
- Conveyors & Crushers
- Pumps
- Reclaim Tunnels and Valves
- Vibrating Screens and Feeders
- Bulldozers, Loader and Bobcat
