Tasks & Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with personal care, hygiene, grooming, and dressing
• Supporting mobility and daily living activities
• Providing emotional support, companionship, and social engagement
• Assisting with meal preparation and feeding when required
• Supporting residents with daily routines and independence goals
• Performing light household duties such as cleaning and maintaining living spaces
• Assisting with community participation and outings
• Ensuring a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for all residents
• Building positive professional relationships with residents, families, and care teams

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in aged care, disability support, or residential care
• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Aged Care / Disability / Community Services) or equivalent qualification
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Working With Children Check (if required)
• COVID-19 vaccination (including booster)
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Modules
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and professional approach to care
