TheOpportunity

We arelooking for an efficient, friendly, and professional CustomerService Officer to join our team at the Kununurra Leisure Centre(KLC) whowill contribute to maintaining a welcoming and safeenvironment while supporting the delivery of quality leisure andfitness services.Acting as the first point of contact forpatrons and visitors, the Customer Service Officer will beresponsible for managing front desk operations including reception,membership enquiries, facility bookings, and cash handling.Responsibilities formally outlined within the position descriptioninclude:

• Serve asthe first point of contact for all patrons entering the LeisureCentre
• Providefriendly and professional assistance with general enquiries,memberships, bookings, and programs.
• Processpayments, memberships, and facility bookings, and reconciledaily takings.
• Maintainaccurate records of transactions and customer data inaccordance with Shire procedures.
• Monitorthe cleanliness and presentation of the front-of-house andcommon areas.
• Supportthe promotion of leisure centre programs, activities, andevents.
• Ensurecompliance with all safety protocols and emergencyprocedures.
• Reporthazards, incidents, and maintenance issues promptly to theFacility Manager.
• Assistin administrative and operational duties as required to supportoverall centre operations.

Relevantqualifications in Business Administration, or Sport and Recreation(or 2 years equivalent experience), and a current unrestricted WA'C' Class Driver’s Licence are essential for this role.
