Aircraft Maintenance Technician

Our client is a well-established specialist aviation facility certified to inspect, repair and overhaul aircraft, engines and components to ensure airworthiness and safety. Currently they are looking for a full time skilled and experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join their dynamic team.

You will be working as part of a friendly team to work on component repairs and overhauls including landing gear, wheels and composite propellers.

Your role will include:

• to maintain, service, inspect, test and undertake fault diagnosis of airframe, engine (including propellers and rotors) and electrical systems, components and accessories on aircraft.

• dismantling, repairing and reassembling aircraft systems, and subassemblies of aircraft frames
• testing and installing electrical circuits and equipment
• replacing and testing aircraft system components
• assembling parts and subassemblies of aircraft frames
• conducting pre-flight inspections of engines, aircraft frames and mechanical systems
• maintaining records of action taken

You must have:

• Skill commensurate with relevant trade qualification a or a minimum of 3 years of relevant trade experience
• At least 1 year of experience working as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician or similar occupation
• Problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team

You will be paid between $78,000-$90,000 p.a. + superannuation
