Traffic Controller

Position

Traffic Controller – Full‑time, permanent – South Grafton, NSW.

Remuneration

$52,701 to $62,847 per annum plus superannuation.

Responsibilities

Provide traffic control support for the Council’s infrastructure construction and maintenance program. Operate as part of a collaborative team from the road works depot in South Grafton, managing site traffic, ensuring safety, and coordinating with roadworks staff and the public.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience working effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to deliver professional, community‑focused service.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety for teammates and the public.
• Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods, work in varied terrain, drive, and perform manual handling.

Working Conditions

• 76 hours per fortnight.
• Prolonged standing, varied terrain, driving, manual handling.
