We are looking for someone reliable, physically capable and happy to get stuck in. This is a replacement hire in a busy kitchen and events operation. The work is hands-on: cleaning, dishwashing, and driving deliveries across Melbourne.

Led by Executive Culinary Director Stephen Nairn, our award-winning portfolio - Omnia, Yugen Dining, Yugen Omakase, Portside, The Grand Room and Bromley Gallery Events - all sit within the prestigious Capitol Grand on Toorak Road, South Yarra. We set the standard, and we hold it.

The Role

You keep the kitchen and common areas clean, organised and running smoothly. Your shifts will mix between three core areas.

• Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes and appliances to a high standard
• Maintain floors, surfaces and common areas through sweeping, mopping and general upkeep
• Handle waste disposal and keep bins and storage areas orderly
• Drive deliveries and transport goods
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies so nothing runs out
• Support the kitchen team with basic food prep when needed
• Follow all health and safety guidelines without exception

Who We're Looking For

Someone who takes ownership of a space. You walk into a room and see what needs doing.

• Driver's licence (required)
• Physically capable, including standing and lifting up to 15 kg
• Reliable and available for a casual 2-3 day roster
• Previous kitchen hand or cleaning experience is a plus
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

And the non-negotiables: you show up when you say you will, you hold the standard even when no one is watching, and you take pride in a clean space because that is just who you are.
