Located in the prestigious harbourside suburb of Elizabeth Bay, Ardency Trebartha offers an elegant and welcoming retirement community. Nestled amongst tranquil parklands and overlooking the sparkling waters of Rushcutters Bay, the village is just moments from the vibrant cafés, restaurants, and boutique shopping of Potts Point.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Village Support Officer to join our team on a casual basis. This varied and rewarding role involves a combination of afternoon, weekend, and sleepover shifts, providing essential support to our residents and community. Flexibility is key, as additional shifts may be available to cover planned and unplanned leave. Reporting the Village Manager, your duties will include:

• Delivering outstanding customer service in every interaction
• Assisting with general administration and operational tasks
• Helping maintain safe, clean, and welcoming community spaces
• Contributing to a positive and engaging resident experience
• Responding to resident emergency calls and incidents
• Providing first aid support and coordinating emergency services when required
• Supporting resident wellbeing and village events
• Working independently and confidently when required, including after-hours shifts

While experience in hospitality, aged care, retirement living, or customer service will be highly regarded, it is your positive attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine passion for helping others that will set you apart.

To be successful in this role, you will also have:

• A current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or be willing to obtain)
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (or be willing to obtain)
• A calm and professional approach in emergency situations
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• The ability to work independently and use initiative
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• A genuine passion for supporting older Australians

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience in retirement living, aged care, hospitality, or customer service
• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or a related qualification
