Job description
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to food safety regulations and company standards.
- Provide training to staff in accordance with the food safety plan.
- Onboarding New Staff:
- Integrate compliance training into the new staff onboarding at site
- Ensure all new employees understand and adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements
- Certificate & Licence Compliance:
- Monitor and track all necessary company and individual staff certificates and licences.
- Ensure timely renewal of all licences and certifications to maintain operational compliance
- Identifying Continual Improvement:
- Proactively identify areas for improvement that assists in achieving efficiencies
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience as a Compliance Officer or relevant background.
- Relevant qualifications in food safety or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
