PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:

At Travel + Leisure our vision is to put the World on Vacation, in your positon as the Houseperson you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene and comfort in all common areas. The House person is also responsible for the daily distribution of resort amenities with their daily operational requirements.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (Include but not limited to:)

• Provides exceptional customer service
• Order the daily deliver of linen
• Check the correct quota of linen has been delivered.
• Ensure linen delivery is not damaged / report and discrepancies to the Housekeeping Manager
• Collect all dirty linen daily
• Assist with the laundering of Resort owned linen
• Clean common areas that are assigned to you
• Ensure prompt action to all guest requests
• Deliver amenities and consumables to all pantries daily
• Do regular check of all corridors for cleanliness
• Ensure all balconies and windows are clean
• Cleans common areas as assigned, in accordance with Company standard to ensure cleaning of all areas is satisfactorily completed
• Maintains pantry in a clean and orderly condition ensuring that the pantry is stocked with supplies as instructed by your Supervisor.
• Ensure corridors and service areas are clean at all times
• Perform duties common to all housekeeping activities as assigned
• Inspect and clean on daily basis Resort Barbecue area
• Assist with guest luggage on check in and check out as required
• Assist F&B room deliveries as required
• Perform lock up duties on completion of evening hours
• Employees must ensure they comply with Travel + Leisure’s OH&S Policy, procedures and any reasonable instruction given by Travel + Leisure.
• Employees must not wilfully place at risk the health and safety of themselves or any other persons in the workplace and to not wilfully or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided for health and safety.

• Maintain a high standard of efficiency and communication between guests and within the Housekeeping / all other departments.
