Are you an experienced RN with Anaesthetic experience, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care?

We are currently expanding our team and are looking for RNs who want to join our collaborative Anaesthetic team on a full-time basis.

As an experienced RN in anaesthetics, your role will include:

• Undertake anaesthetics nursing care in accordance with legislation
• Deliver evidence based nursing care
• Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
• Ensure patient and staff safety
• Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and AINs to deliver patient care (RN only)
• Proactively assess the operative nursing care provided to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved for the individual / patient
• Document into the patient's medical record objectively, clearly, concisely and timely using accepted abbreviations and terminology

• The hospital is a leading healthcare facility that specializes in acute surgical, medical, maternity and mental health services.
• Located in the rapidly developing Northern suburbs of Melbourne, it is very easily accessed via the Western Ring Road, Eastern Freeway and also by public transport.
• The hospital currently has 145 beds, including a 4 bed HDU and 5 theatres.
• The planned expansion will include increase in Mental health beds and growth of 4 theatres and 34 beds with additional consulting suites.

About You

• Current AHPRA registration
• Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
• Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• The ability to work well independently and within a team
• High level organisational skills to meet time constraints
• 12 months plus experience in anaesthetics
• Strong clinical skillset
• Demonstrate the ability to show initiative Excellent communication skills
