A long-standing, community-focused medical centre is seeking a General Practitioner to join its team and provide high-quality care, particularly to its growing number of young families. Located in a purpose-built facility just 30 minutes from the Brisbane CBD, the practice has been serving the local community for over 60 years.
The mixed-billing centre is equipped with 10 consultation rooms, three nurse consultation rooms, two minor procedure rooms, and four treatment rooms. The practice maintains a close-knit, family feel, with many staff members having served for over 20 years. Doctors are supported by three registered nurses with expertise in immunisations, diabetes education, and chronic disease management, as well as a five-person administrative team. The new GP will have the opportunity to build a patient base with a diverse range of clinical presentations and can also pursue special interests, such as skin cancer medicine.
The practice is a registrar training facility with supervisor opportunities available. Practitioners are offered clinical autonomy and flexible working arrangements. The practice's partnership with the RACGP simplifies the process of achieving and recording CPD requirements, with free in-house opportunities and discounted registration for industry events.
