We are currently looking for motivated, enthusiastic and experienced ICU nurses to provide expert nursing care to complex patients for the 19 bed ICU unit.
As a Registered Nurse ICU your responsibilities will include:
Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care
Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
Lead successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes
Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
Act as a role model for Safe PracticeAbout the Company
The hospital is located in the rapidly developing North West corridor of Sydney and is operated by a leading provider of private healthcare in Australia. The hospital has 277 beds and is a high-acuity facility with an Emergency Department located in Sydney's Bella Vista.About You
- Recent Clinical experience in an ICU unit
- Bachelor of Nursing
- Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA and Australian Working Rights
- Post Graduate Certificate in ICU or working towards (desirable)
- Current ALS qualifications (desirable)
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
- Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused
- Working with Children check
