Are you a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Midwife looking for a new position? We are currently seeking experienced Registered Midwives to join the team on a full-time basis. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care are provided to women and their families.
As a Registered Midwife, your responsibilities will be to:
- Deliver evidence based midwifery care
- Work collaboratively within the multi-disciplinary team
- Deliver a high standard of customer service
- Ensure patient and staff safety
About the Company
The hospital offers a range of specialties including cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, general surgery, general medicine, gynaecology and maternity, oncology, orthopaedics, urology and vascular surgery. Ashford Hospital has 9 operating theatres, 1 procedure room, 2 angiography labs, an emergency department, maternity services and a 24 bed level 3 critical care unit.About You
- Current registration as a Midwife with AHPRA
- Clinical skills and motivation to ensure excellence in patient care and customer service
- A minimum 1 year of recent Midwifery experience
- A commitment to safe practice and quality patient care
- Understanding of the National Safety and Quality Health Service standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work both independently and within a team structure
- The ability to act in a professional manner at all times
