Job Summary
A Coastal Queensland hospital requires a Senior Medical Officer in General Practice for a temporary assignment from 17 February 2026 to 23 April 2026.
Location
North Burnett region of Queensland, approximately 335 km north of Brisbane. The facility is a 10‑bed community hospital serving a small town of about 1,981 residents.
Responsibilities
- Provide general practice clinical services in the community hospital.
- Run the GP clinic and share on‑call duties during the week and on weekends (7 shifts).
- Support emergency, rehabilitation and palliative care services as needed.
Qualifications
Registered with AHPRA and have the Right to Work in Australia.
Compensation
Daily rate of $2,700.00.
