Role Overview

Knox Private Hospital is seeking an Orderly to join our team on a casual basis. You will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and be committed to high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction in a fast‑paced and varied environment.

Responsibilities

• Patient assistance and transfers, including use of lifting machine and bed movers
• General housekeeping duties: cleaning beds, organising linen, restocking equipment, and waste management
• Assist clinical staff with patient needs
• Remove dirty linen and ensure clean linen is readily available
• Operate in line with WHS policy and procedures
• Cultivate a hospitable and friendly environment for all patients
• Act as an active team member to support all work tasks

Qualifications

• Authority to work in Australia
• Experience as an orderly or in a hospital environment (desirable)
• Vaccination and serology records prior to commencement
• Working with Children check
• Commitment to service excellence
• Ability to prioritise and organise work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• High level attention to detail
