  • Care Companion Casual Healthcare Role (Newport NSW)

    Jump into a flexible, rewarding casual role supporting community members in Newport and surrounding Northern Beaches suburbs. This on-demand position suits reliable, caring people who enjoy varied hours, driving between clients, and making a real difference in people's daily lives.

    What Youll Do
    • Provide compassionate in-home assistance and companionship to clients with diverse needs, focusing on dignity and independence.
    • Support routine activities such as meal preparation, light domestic tasks, shopping support, medication reminders, and community outings.
    • Drive clients to appointments, social activities, or errands using your own vehicle, ensuring punctuality and safety at all times.
    • Communicate clearly with families and coordinators about client wellbeing, changes in condition, and task completion.
    • Adapt to on-demand shifts and last-minute bookings, delivering calm, professional care in dynamic situations.
    Who Were Looking For

    • Drivers with a clean, roadworthy vehicle who enjoy working across Newport and nearby suburbs.

    Mandatory Requirements
    • Full Australian Drivers Licence and reliable car for client transport.
    • Current Working with Children Check or ability to obtain one prior to starting.
    • Right to work in Australia and willingness to undergo background checks and reference verification.
    • Ability to start immediately and accept casual, on-demand shifts arranged via a workforce platform.
