EWP Operator

  • Work on a major Hunter Region project (Liddell Power Station)
  • Competitive hourly rate of $40.54 per hour + penalties and allowances
  • Opportunity to work across varied demolition activities

CMA is currently seeking Elevated Work Platform Operators / Labourers for a demolition project at Liddell Power Station. This is a labour-intensive role requiring physically capable candidates who are willing to assist with general labouring duties as needed. You will be working across both EWP operation and ground-based tasks in a dynamic demolition environment.


What you’ll be doing

  • Operating EWPs (11m+) to safely access elevated work areas
  • Assisting with strip-out, dismantling, and preparation works under boiler structures
  • Supporting demolition crews with manual labour and material removal
  • Spotting EWP movements and maintaining exclusion zones
  • Clearing debris and maintaining safe, clean work areas


What we’re looking for

  • Valid EWP Ticket (11m+) – essential
  • Working at Heights (WAH) – essential
  • Experience in demolition, construction, or heavy industry
  • Demolition training (CPCCDE3030 & CPCCWHS2001) – highly regarded
  • Oxy cutting experience – highly regarded
  • Must be willing and able to undergo fit testing.
