About the Role
We're looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our leadership team.
Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you'll play a key role in leading day-to-day operations, developing a large front-of-house team and ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional experience. This is a hands-on leadership position suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys leading from the floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop front-of-house team members to deliver exceptional service
- Drive service excellence across restaurant and function operations
- Oversee daily venue operations, ensuring presentation, service and compliance standards are maintained
- Support rostering, labour management and operational efficiency
- Deliver outstanding guest experiences and resolve issues professionally
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Monitor venue performance and contribute to achieving operational targets
- Maintain compliance across RSA, RCG, WHS and venue policies
- Foster a positive, engaged and high-performing team culture
About You
You are a passionate hospitality professional with strong leadership skills, a hands-on management style and a genuine commitment to guest service.
To Be Successful, You'll Have:
- 2+ years' experience in an Assistant Manager, Supervisor or similar leadership role
- Experience in a high-volume restaurant, hospitality or premium casual dining environment
- A strong floor presence and the ability to lead by example
- Proven ability to coach, motivate and develop teams
- Strong food and beverage knowledge
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A passion for delivering memorable guest experiences
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and peak trading periods
- Current RSA & RCG qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
