Construction Scheduler – Custom Homes | Perth, WA

Distinguished Homes is a family-owned custom home builder with over 20 years' experience delivering high-quality, architecturally designed homes across Perth.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Construction Scheduler to join our team.

The Role

You will be responsible for coordinating residential construction projects from pre-start through to completion, ensuring materials, trades, and documentation are scheduled efficiently to support smooth project delivery.

• Preparing and managing construction schedules
• Coordinating trades, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Raising and issuing purchase orders
• Monitoring construction progress and programme timelines
• Ensuring materials and trades are available in line with build schedules
• Liaising with site supervisors, suppliers, and internal departments
• Managing variations and updating schedules accordingly
• Tracking procurement, lead times, and delivery requirements
• Maintaining accurate project records and documentation
• Assisting in ensuring homes are delivered on time and within budget

About You

• Previous experience in residential construction scheduling with a minimum 1–2 years’ experience
• Strong understanding of residential construction processes, sequencing, and build timeframes
• Experience coordinating trades, suppliers, and material deliveries
• Highly organised with strong time management and prioritisation skills
• Proactive, reliable, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyn
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional approach
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of project schedules
• Ability to remain composed under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Proficient in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite
