About the role
Reporting to the General Manager – RTO, you will lead all aspects of training delivery across nationally recognised qualifications and short courses.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Trainers and Assessors
- Ensure compliance with ASQA standards, RTO regulations and training packages
- Drive training quality, learner engagement and assessment excellence
- Manage training schedules, delivery planning and LMS systems
- Oversee trainer competency, currency and professional development
- Support RTO audits, validation and scope additions
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives across training programs
- Partner with stakeholders to align training with workforce needs
About you
To succeed in this role, you will bring strong RTO leadership experience and a passion for developing people and systems.
Essential skills & experience
- 3+ years’ experience in an RTO leadership role (Training Manager / Compliance Manager / Lead Trainer)
- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of VET sector, ASQA standards and compliance requirements
- Experience with RTO audits, validation and learning management systems (LMS)
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive performance outcomes
Highly desirable
- Experience in healthcare or community services training
- Experience expanding scope of registration
