Administration and Customer Service Officer

We have a full-time permanent opportunity for an Administration & Customer Service Officer based at our Kalgoorlie depot.

This role provides both customer service and administrative support within a busy transport and logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Kalgoorlie depot team.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service face-to-face and over the phone.
  • Manage incoming customer enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Coordinate with drivers, operations, and internal teams to support smooth daily freight movements.
  • Track and update consignment information using internal systems.
  • Assist with POD (Proof of Delivery) processing and basic freight reconciliation.
  • Support escalation handling for delayed, missing, or damaged freight.
  • Maintain accurate records and data entry across operational systems.
  • Assist with scheduling and prioritising urgent customer requests.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, chain of responsibility, and safety requirements.
  • Identify and elevate service or operational issues to supervisors.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of customer service processes.

About You

  • Previous customer service and/or office administration experience (transport/logistics preferred).
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Confident problem solver with the ability to manage queries and resolve issues.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Commitment to safety and following safe work practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
