  • Build strong relationships with client organisations and communicate clearly during high‑pressure events
  • Complete timely, accurate documentation and follow‑up support
  • Provide EAP counselling, wellbeing services and assessments when working from the office (secondary to CIR duties)

Why you will love working with us

  • Supervision and mentoring, including regular individual and group‑based supervision with Principal Psychologists and team members, with group supervision available for special interest areas.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team of psychologists, receiving essential debriefing support as necessary to effectively navigate urgent cases and prioritise your own wellbeing.
  • We prioritise professional development with annual allowances towards training based on individualised career goals (including Board Approved Supervisor Training, EMDR).
  • Our remuneration packages comprise competitive base salaries, performance‑based salary reviews, and wellbeing benefits.
  • We regularly recognise our people through national social award events and office‑based awards.
  • Work in a diverse and ethical team that supports professional development; 76% of promotions in the last year were to female members of our team.

Our Wellbeing Promise

  • Experience genuine support for your personal wellbeing, including access to our AltiusLife wellness app, regular wellness seminars, and an Employee Assistance Program.
  • We value leave! Paid parental leave plus purchased leave arrangements to optimise your work‑life balance.
  • You will receive the latest technology for efficient working, including a Surface Pro and smartphones.

Equal Employment Opportunity Statement

Altius is an Equal Opportunity Employer and an inclusive workforce. Research has shown that in Australia, women, people living with disability, LGBTQIA+, First Nations people, and those from minority groups are less likely to apply for a role because they feel they will not be successful. We encourage those who identify with any of these groups to apply.
