About the Role

The Performance Media Director will shape and define industry‑leading performance media strategies for our customers across Zenith. The role partners with senior customer relationships and leads the Performance Media team in Search Engine Marketing, Programmatic, Video, Social and Mobile, delivering accurate reports, optimisation implementation and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the team’s outputs: planning, implementation, optimisation, reporting and billing, ensuring 100% accuracy.
  • Serve as the figurehead in interactions with peers, media owners, creative agencies and other stakeholders, escalating performance media issues.
  • Provide thought leadership and develop a POV on performance recommendations and developments.
  • Ensure Zenith has a strong voice as a Digital & Technology leader through case studies, speaking events, awards and publications.
  • Delegate and task‑manage across the team, collaborating with Performance Managers on planning and upskilling.
  • Participate in upstream responses to briefs and strategic processes, maintaining quality control of implementation responses.
  • Work hand‑in‑hand with the Group Performance Director on media negotiations, driving deals, media buys and developing programmatic firsts.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders within the Publicis Groupe to deliver KPI‑aligned client benefits.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in performance media.
  • Strong experience in paid search, social and programmatic.
  • Excellent grasp of planning and activation.
  • Working knowledge of Google paid search platforms (Google Ads, SA360), Microsoft Advertising, Meta, LinkedIn, The Trade Desk and other key platforms.
  • Managerial experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Solution‑oriented and strong analytical thinking.
