ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re currently seeking a Sales Development Representative to join a fuel solutions sales team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for engaging inbound leads from an existing network of logistics and transport businesses, converting interest into applications for a range of carrier-focused products designed to help businesses reduce costs.
This is a fast-paced, phone-based sales role suited to someone with a strong commercial mindset, excellent communication skills, and a genuine drive to close opportunities. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders, manage a high volume of leads, and maintain accurate records within a CRM system.
DUTIES
- Contact and engage inbound sales leads via phone and email
- Convert expressions of interest into completed applications
- Understand customer needs and recommend the most suitable product solutions
- Manage a high volume of daily outreach while maintaining quality conversations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in a CRM system
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to achieve sales targets
- Contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes and lead conversion
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience in sales, business development, or a commercial environment
- Confident phone manner with strong written communication skills
- Results-driven mindset with a hunger to close opportunities
- Comfortable working towards KPIs in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Resilient, proactive, and eager to learn
- Prior experience as a Sales Development Representative is advantageous, though attitude and drive are key
